We require this information for internal record keeping. In the UK it is a requirement to keep records of all account transactions for 6 years for tax purposes. We may use this information to improve our products/services.
If you have opted to join our mailing list, we use the information you provide (name and email address) to send periodical emails regarding new products, special offers or other news/information relating to our business which we think you might be interested in. You can opt out of this at any time. You will never be automatically added to our mailing list, even if you place an order.
Oddity Closet do not collect or store any financial information but we receive information from our payment processor regarding the payment, such as the date and time of order as well as your contact/delivery details.
We keep a note of your details for a limited time in case there are problems with the post. We use Royal Mail and they have a cut off time of 3 months to investigate missing parcels. Any emails relating to purchases are deleted every 3 months. Certificates of postage, which feature delivery addresses, are shredded every 3 months.
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable procedures to safeguard the information we collect online. Please be aware however that, unfortunately, the internet can never be 100% secure. Please also note that emails are not encrypted and email correspondence is not a secure means of submitting any sensitive information. Oddity Closet will never ask for sensitive information via email.
